The whole flow happens between the extension and the plugin — no copy-paste step.

Capture in Chrome
Open the Claude Design deck in your browser, click the extension icon, then "Capture deck."

Open the plugin in Figma
Log in with the same email you used in the extension. A 6-digit code, no password to remember.

Click "Import" on the deck you captured. Watch real progress and cancel anytime.
What's different
Not an image. Real layers.
Each slide becomes its own top-level frame ("Slide 1", "Slide 2", …), rebuilt faithfully to the original.
- Real frames, one per slide. Each slide arrives as an isolated top-level frame, named "Slide 1", "Slide 2", and so on.
- Real auto-layout. Rebuilt from the original slide's CSS flexbox — not fixed absolute positions.
- Editable text, run by run. Correct font, size, color, letter-spacing, and line-height for each text range.
- Gradients, shadows, and borders. Linear and radial gradients, drop and inner shadows, per-side borders (including dashed), and corner radius.
- Real stacking order. The layer stack in Figma reflects the original slide's visual order, with CSS transform scale normalized.
Every element arrives in Figma as an independent, editable layer — not pixels in an image.

Do I need both the Chrome extension and the Figma plugin?
Yes, both halves. The extension captures the deck open in Claude Design; the plugin rebuilds that deck as layers inside Figma. One without the other doesn't complete the path. Both are free to install and share the same account.
Does the deck arrive in Figma as an image or as editable layers?
As editable layers. Each slide becomes its own top-level frame ("Slide 1", "Slide 2", …), with auto-layout rebuilt from the original slide's CSS flexbox, text editable range by range with the right font, size, color and line height, plus linear and radial gradients, drop and inner shadows, per-side borders and rounded corners. It is not a pasted image or a screenshot.
Do I need to create a password?
No. Sign-in is a 6-digit code sent to your email, in both the extension and the plugin. Use the same email in both — that's what links the deck you captured in Chrome to the plugin open in Figma.
How much does it cost?
The free plan gives you 10 deck imports per month, no card. Pro is $4.80/month for the first 100 subscribers, locked for 12 months (then $9/month), for individual use up to 300 imports per month. For teams, Team is $12 per seat/month starting at 3 seats, or $10 per seat from 10 seats up. No lock-in: cancel anytime.
How long does a captured deck stay available to import?
7 calendar days from capture. After that the slide content is automatically deleted from the server and the deck disappears from the plugin's list. Anything you already imported stays yours in Figma — expiry never touches your file.
What if a slide uses a font I don't have in Figma?
The import still happens, and the plugin tells you at the end exactly which fonts weren't found. The text stays editable; it just renders in Figma's fallback font until you install the original. We'd rather warn you than fail silently or swap the font without saying so.
Does it work in FigJam or Figma Slides?
No. The plugin runs in Figma Design, which is where frames, auto-layout and text styles exist as the layers the rebuild needs to create.
Is this an Anthropic product?
No. Claude Design Importer is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. It reads the deck already open in your browser — it does not access your Claude account or your conversations.
